My co-worker bought a Palm Harbor MH, she lives about 6 miles from me. She has a jetted tub, walk in closets, three bedrooms, two fireplaces, a pantry. It is beautiful. Like you said, well built.
She loves it and is very happy in it. I wish MY house had a jetted tub! There is nothing wrong with MH. My husband and I watched a show on Discovery, it was about the houses that are built in a warehouse and then are taken apart, it takes two semis. They re-assemble them on your lot. They are all "green" building, and have a higher safety rating than my house has! We would love to have one on our property, if we could afford it!
Thanks, I would LOVE to have a jetted tub, we have a large garden tub which I relax in often.
I have heard that they the MFH have good safety ratings, I am not sure what they are exactly. But so
far it has given us no problems what so ever. We are going to put a new roof on next spring due to all
the hail storms that we had this last spring. We wanted to do it earlier but the waiting list was so long
since we did not have major damage we were at the end of the list. I am looking forward to see how
that affects the efficency of the house.
