They're probably fine but you don't want fresh chicken poo on your vegetables because of the risk of contamination. The poo needs to age not just so it's not "hot" but also to give the pathogens time to be killed. For ornamentals that's not a big deal and for stuff like tomatoes it probably isn't either since it's doubtful that fresh poo will get on the fruit, but potatoes and leafy stuff... oops.

Reason I say the plants themselves are probably fine is that 2 chicks worth of poo just isn't very much. But it really should be 30-60 days old before going in a vegetable garden.
