Manx Cats

The kittens are 4 weeks old today. They have just started getting active and exploring. One was having a harder time getting around then its siblings, so I took it to the vet today. She was diagnosed with Spina bifida, a problem commonly associated with the Manx breed. Its not a good outcome. I'm trying to find information that offers hope for her, but not coming across anything that differs from the doctors advice.

It really breaks my heart to think about putting down such a sweet, innocent little life.

If anyone can offer some experience, or advice in this matter, I could use it.

Oh that sucks. Try looking up the manx club of america or whatever its called and see if they have any info or if any breeders can give you their wisdom. Try checking for a manx club at CFA website(cat fanciers of america)

to you for taking in Mama, and for taking such good care of the wee ones. I'm sorry you're facing a difficult decision, but if the kitten would live a life of pain or suffering then, as hard as it is, you'll be doing the best you can for her. Blessing...
