I got an email back and they said they didn't actually ship them, they had just put the shipping label on a box and had it in a bin to send (why not just wait until its actually shipped to say they have?). We would have had 24, which is way more than we needed.

I jsut checked and mine are out to be delivered today. Cant wait to get home.

I got two different orders off ebay. one from NY and one from FL. Im hoping they are in one piece when I get home. 4 blues from one and 10 mixed from the other

I am glad they didn't ship those eggs. Do they have your credit card number? I could just see them charging you.
As far as the hygrometer/thermometer I have three of each and they are all over the place as far as readings go. I will be weighing my eggs to double check every few days (there is a formula you use to calculate how much weight loss you should have on specific days of incubation to make sure they have the appropriate weight loss, you adjust the humidity according to the weight of the egg). Neat hey! How ever do people figure these things out, thank God for them!! I hope the fellow that is sending me eggs remembers to send them today so I can get them in the incubator on Wednesday or Thursday. I am only getting 7 eggs as that is all I can put in my Brinsea. I hope he will send some blue splash marans, they look so pretty, well, they all do don't they?!!!

They did through PayPal and its looks like they refunded me the whole total and didn't do the $10 cancellation but it hasn't hit my bank yet. I did weigh my eggs so I'm keeping track of that. They are all lovely chickens! That's why I wanted them do bad!

Picked up my eggs and they are in the incubator...and they are HUGE!

Man those are large.... I should be getting 14 from and Ebay purchase....I love those ebay folks..they are the best on the planet.I have found out that if you go with and ebay seller that has good ratings....They say they send extras,,But I always give them a little story of how hard it is to get any eggs in Alaska...Most will give even more than purchased...This last one was for doz for $25 plus $17 to ship..Seller told me they were shipping 14 MaransBCF and sending a couple legbar and a cuckoo lemon orpinton.. 17 eggs for the price of the doz..I like finding one day newly lisedt auctions.I have had the best of luck with ebay...With lg dark eggs like Marans lay..I think can asking $7 a doz @ the farmer market..Thats my plan anyways.Works for me,, Just a thought....
