Yikes!! Do you have 2 calibrated thermometers?well, Im a bit freaked out. for the last 19 days, the bator has held a temp of 99.3 - 100....depending on the time of day. When I came home today, the temp was 108! not sure how long is was that high or why. I still have 4 eggs moving around..and you can hear peeps coming from inside. I sure hope they didnt get hurt..

Temps down are not as big concern as temps above 100...And for how long.....? I have notice that my temps have rose up to 101 when hatching....It looks like the thermometer I was using broke today.. now I hope that turning the heat down for a couple hours didn't wreck the rest of them
SWEETCrom what I can tell..the temp ndver went up...the thermometer broke. I turned it down for a couple hrs. Now I have another thermometer in and the temp is just about back where it should be
Yay!!! So exciting!day 20 and ive got 2 thats pipped![]()
Oh, I should have finished reading all the posts before I responded, it was a faulty thermometer...Glad everything will be ok.mattsinger: Oh My...what's the deal with the temp spike all of a sudden? I hope they are all ok. Don't loose hope, hard to see those babies in there, I am sure your eggs looked the same as mine it was all dark, and since the hatch is almost done they aren't moving much, or taking a rest. Your eggs are due to hatch tomorrow? I will be thinking about you and your hatch...hoping all is well.
