Ok, I am super excited, I went to check on my little BCM egg...AGAIN, and there is a pip on it and every once and a while his/her little beak pushes it out. Should I stay up all night and watch or will it be like that tomorrow! I hope the little peep comes tomorrow because it is my birthday tomorrow, that would be a great present! Mattsinger, did you get any more hatching? Anybody else?

I have heard that they can take several hours, even days, and then there are others who hatch quite quickly.

These are what " I" had plan when " I" started looking for a breed.
Some how the wife wanted hens that lay right now.
So we found some and there ya go...

sadly no....nothing else going on in there. The little guy has been rolling eggs everywhere....I thought by keeping him in there, if he moved one, we would be able to see some reaction from whoever is inside.....but none have done that. I'm just now moving the chick out of the bator and into the brooder. I feel sorry we dont have a companion for it.....out of two local feed stores, one has some chicks that are about 3 weeks old, and the other only has turkeys right now and will be getting some chicks in on Monday..
