Well, I think I'm gonna do it again, get another breed of chicken that is. I'd like to add some Maran's to my collection. If anybody near Mobile, AL has some eggs, chicks, or chickens for sale or trade let me know. The only chicks I have right now that I'm willing to part with are mostly mixed. But I'd still be interested in buying some. Hope to hear from someone. [IMG]

I'm from West Georgia but have shipped often to Alabama.

We have French black copper marans with feathered feet for sale. We were blessed to get them as babies from a BYC'er.

    I would try www.GabbardHatchingEggs.com
They are in Arkansas, but have great quality and I have had great success from them. Their shipping is very very good........... Julie is very easy to work with and professional...........IMHO......[IMG]

I've been asked by multiple persons after replying to this post about the price of our Black Copper Marans hatching eggs and more about them. I think maybe it's hard to find them in the link I listed.

They are Feathered Feet- Wade Jean Line - C-1. They meet the French standard.

We are currently running a Summer Special which will be $35 for six eggs including shipping/etc as listed above and $60 for 12 eggs.
This price includes the handling/packing and priority shipping and confirmation number. (This is a discount of $10 for 6 eggs and $15 for the 12 eggs from our normal price.)

Here's but a pic of part of our flock:

Please continue to pm any questions anyone may have about these. I'll amend this post to reflect your questions and thanks for all the interest. Have a blessed evening.
