I have a one day old chick and it has it's last toe fused to the middle toe. At first I thought that it had some gunk just keeping them together, mainly because the feathering goes all the way down the toe and in my inexperience I never even thought of fused toes. But it is fused (webbed).
I am pretty sure this is a Maran, I had several breeds in this hatch, Could it be the Blue Birchen Maran? Is it possible for this chick to make it without cutting the skin? It gets around, just a little slower than the rest.
