Marans~ boys or girls?

I got some better pictures of them today while they had free run of the run while the big girls were in the backyard.
Chick #1 hoping a girl

Chick #2’s comb is looking more red... still pale wattles. I need help with this one

Chick #3 feel like she’s a hen

Chick 4 my sweet boy. Adding this just cause he’s pretty. I will miss him...

And lastly chick 5. I really think he’s a boy too (chick #3 beside)

And my little smaaland girl~ she’s the nicest chick ever!

I appreciate everyone’s help. I’m pretty new to this and this is my first batch of straight run chick... hopefully these pics are better

Bad news. A hawk took my blue copper maran rooster this morning. Good news, I have a broody hen sitting on eggs since Wed. hopefully some were his!

So sorry to hear that! I've been having hawks circling around too

I am 100% positive you have 2 girls.

in there is the darkest egg my marans have ever laid.

if you post the pics there more experienced marans people will tell you if the mystery chick is a boy or girl.

Chick #1 - Could go either way for me....though leaning more towards pullet.
Chick #2 - Cockerel.
Chick #3 - Likely pullet.
Chick #5 - Likely cockerel.

They're all gorgeous!
