I think the problem with ebay or any other auction style purchases is that it gets to competative. People intend on "setting their limit" but in the heat of the last few minutes they jack the prices way up just trying to outbid that SOB that outbid him/her lol.

I have bought on ebay since 2000 and I really have only had one bad experience-with a ring I bought. Though the ring is absolutely gorgous and we ended up getting a way better diamond than what was posted, it took 2 1/2 months to get the ring and the seller just wanted to give us our money back because he didn't want to sell the ring to us. (long story)

I think the key to ebay is to just be smart about how much you spend.

Perhaps the people who are claiming pure breeds really do think they have them because they were told the chickens they bought were pure breed, does that make sense? If I were told it was a pure breed of some sort, I do not know enough about different breeds to tell the difference at this point, but I am learning

what I am talking about is bid shilling. where they get someone else to bid on their stuff to run the prices up. I buy and sell on ebay and I have seen many people do that on there. Yes it is against ebay policies but they still do it.

Whats worst is multiple accounts. My friend has 5 accounts on ebay and he jacks up his own items. Its sick but they do it. I told him I would report him but he dont care.

Well, we all know its fraudulent. What would you normally do with someone obviously misrepresenting a sale item on ebay? This is no different. I don't know anything about any of these auction things since I dont use them, but does seem they let people sell just about anything.

I sent ebay an email, just because it bothers me to see people taken advantage of. Got this reply:

- suspend the seller.

Account suspensions are usually reserved for those sellers that
continuously disregard policy.
