Oh cute! NP, I am planning on hatching some of my Marans/BO too. Course the Brabanter roo might have gotten to them as well.

I really think they're gonna be an awesome dual-purpose bird. They're huge, and I'm hoping for a slightly better meat harvest from the roos, and hoping that the hens will lay a darker-than-BO egg, but more frequently than a Marans.

It's that old breeder's malady where we think we'll get the BEST of both worlds, with no negatives!
