Hey Pink, did you ever come up with a "flock" name??

I have chicks from my second hatch!
The breeds of chicks were hatched this time are . .. Olive eggers, Blue or Black Copper marans

Check out the olive egger in this photo. My Dd (13 years old) thinks they are soooooo sexy.

What would the day be without some BLUES ?? ? ?

The Blacks are pretty laid back . . . . .

And the Momma / Baby sitter/ jungle gym ALL rolled up in one stuffed WARTHOG!

Well, I kind of boiled it down to 3 names. The first is what I call my home, "Poor Hollow", or translation out here, "Po Hollar"

Next was "Beulah Marans", a bit plain. Thirdly, went with the French version of the first one: "Marans de Pauvre Creux". Maybe a tad fancy-schmansy??

I heard Jack LaLaine died today, age 96. I remember doing excercises with my Mom while watching him on TV. She loved him cause he was a "cutie pie"...me, I liked his white German Shepherd!
