Mel...I've had the pleasure of meeting Lisa (math ace) in person. She is beautiful and as funny and vivacious as her posts indicate. I am proud to call her my friend.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person but I can read between the lines & agree X2....!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out the egg I got yesterday from one of the BCM girls....it had to hurt! Photo'd it next to a good size avacado for comparison. It weighs 126.4 grams and 3" and 3/8" long. Its a WHOPPER! I can't blame her for the color of it either I don't think.

Aren't emu eggs about the color of an avacado?

Math~ I love her! I can't remember her name...is it Sophia? Don't ever change her as your avatar please! But you are right....she could use a little more copper around the neck and she's a bit larger than the standard calls for, but overall I think you've got yourself a good start there.

Is it a Splash or is it light blue? I really can't tell in the photo but it looks splash to me and yes photo'ing chicks can be a chore. Can't wait to see more of them. Can you tell how many blues there are? Feathered shanks....what's going on there, how we looking on shank feathering? Did we get any clean legged little buggers this time? Shank feathering has been very good lately so I am thinking these should be pretty good, yes?
