It is a SCREAMING cockerel. . . .I don't see anything wrong!

lol, thats what i was thinking too, i just havent seen them with rounded tips like that? or is that the norm for marans?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm new here and there's a lot of pages to go through lol

are cuckoo marans eggs alright in color compared to welsummers?

I have been raising both for over a year now, and I found that the eggs from my Cuckoo's really complimented the terra-cotta eggs from my Wellies. They are a great combo for awesome looking eggs. My suggestion (for what it is worth) would be to find a couple of Olive Eggers and/or a couple of Americaunas to complete a real kewl looking combo of colored eggs.

Well it's been a crazy year so far, with having our house flooded with sewage and being told by the city that I can't have roosters. Those are just a few highlights of my very fun life!

At any rate, I've found a wonderful local ranch where I can do my breeding and I have 3 wheaten marans pullets from fitz farm and cree farms. However they are missing a boyfriend.

Is there a "perfect to almost perfect"!! extra roo/cockerel that anyone's looking to re-home?
