Me too! I HATE DIAL-UP!!! Took me half an hour yesterday to watch Techno-Chicken, a 1:49 minute clip!

Haha I see the resemblance of the wheaten babies. Either that or a chicken nugget. He also reminds me of my new little buff silkie from Bobbi Porto egg from her Tater. I named him Tater Tot lol.

Needless to say the baby goatie was here before the end of the video. I rescued 2 poorly taken care of goats and low and behold 5 days later I was seeing some baby face happening.......I had no clue she was preggers when I brought them home.

Shoot, nothing to it Prissy! LOL. My Nubians would always drop their kids on their own. The Corriedale sheep on the otherhand, always had theirs in the middle of the stormiest, freezing, snowy nights, and always needed help!

Newyorkrita - I'm so bummed about your hatch! 4 out of 14 isn't so much fun...wish it would have gone better! If that one chick is still having problems standing, you might give her 2 drops of Poly VI Sol (NO IRON formula) twice daily directly in her beak for 2-3 days. She might just be lacking a mineratl or something...

Are the rest of them doing well?

cpartist - LOVE that dark, speckly egg! I have said for years I would love to develop a line of super speckly egg layers. Gorgeous!

Sorry Debbi, that was 2 years ago. I can never keep track of time...it goes by waaaaaaaayyyyyy to fast. 2 years already...WOW!

I think someone should develop a line of those speckly layers.....I love them. They just add tons and tons of character to a basket of eggs.
