Cute!

No, silly. It's a Maran. That's what the ad says. And if it's on Craigslist, it must be good....

Or maybe the fingers mixed up the O with A.

Hi everyone. Hope all are doing well. Just popped in to say that I am so excited for my little marans.... the littles have been outside (rather then the brooder) in a little pen every day and I have been luring them to eat out of my hands (clover) and so far the two pullets are doing great. Working on their trust.... the little roo Cowboy is a scardy cat though lol I have found that the pullets are very forward and the roos are skiddish- is this what you all have noticed within your flocks? Or is it just my birds... I have noticed this with two hatches now. The roos are the important ones to get you to trust them- at least that is my opinion. I have little kids running around with the birds and I want to be sure the roos who are around are safe to have around with kids.

Do you have more photos of both roosters from different angles that you can share?

I can try. My guys free range so it's sometimes difficult to follow them for long without sending them scurrying or catching them in a quiet moment. Any particular angles that would be helpful? Above, front, rear?
