From what I have been reading I think to get the silkied look, they'd have to have it from both sides. I bet the Cochin mixes will make a beautiful ball of fluff.Everyone is fine I checked them over and luckly no injures.

I was going to start a Marans project and one LITTLE thing.... yellow legs put a stop to that. Just too hard to get that out of the birds... more work than I have time for anyway. I would have had a lot less work on getting type back from my cross..... I just can't imagine how hard it is going to be to get type back from a cochin.....
