Morning Everyone! Hope today finds everyone and their birds doing fabulous!

Debbi~ Thank you. I am trying to load photos of the darker blues.

flgarden~ Thank you! The chipmunky babies are Welsummers. Yes they are cute but IMO they do not hold a candle to the fluffy cuteness of the Marans.

While I was outside yesterday I got a couple photos of my favorite little cockerel that I thought I would share with you all. Please feel free to give your opinions of him. He is 3.5 months old.

Thanks flgarden and hens! Black Coppers have not been my thing but are fast becoming my newest addiction, so I am really looking forward to all comments and insights.

BTW: I missed a color call on one of Bill's babies.....one IS a splash.

The 2 darker blue babies.

Not the greatest photos, they just don't always stand still.
1st photo is Bills baby and 2nd photo is Gnarles baby, Gnarles darker blue is the only one that came out with out shank feathering.

congrats Pink.. babies are always so cute..
my bator is shut down for the year and I am having withdrawals....... so tempted to plug it back in.... AARGH!!!!

Mornin' all!

Pink, I had to look twice at your BCM boy! He looks very similar to Pip! I like yours' back better, but then he is standing proud, where poor Pip is always on guard!

I think his hackle color will help those ladies in the background

Cute little blues too. Shame the dark Gnarles kid doesn't have shank feathers, you should dispose of it immediately...my address is...

Thank you friends!

Debbi~ That is Phat Sassy in the background. I think she would like to help him out with something and it isn't hackle color.

She does not care for this little man and she is not afraid to let him know it either.

Well, no wonder she needs hackle color!

These poor young men do have a tough row to hoe. My three girls are still being so mean to Pip, even though he's been out in the coop/run with them for about 2 weeks now. He's 3 months old today, and catching up to them in size. They'd better hope he doesn't remember this treatment by the time his hormones kick in!
