This is the color of eggs I get from the solid blues I got from you. The big speckled ones on the right are from my bigger hen, Cocoa, and the oblong more reddish solid color on the left are from my little Bella. I have two more solid blue pullets from hatching eggs from you that are just now starting to check out the nest box and 3 nice solid blue roos. One is very light almost a splashy lavender color but not quite a splash.

Berkley if you had some blues that lay very dark eggs and then breed them to wheatens to make blue wheatens and then breed them into you wheaten flock you should be able to darker your eggs maybe...

Thank you. My darkest blue roo looks similar to yours too. You've done a great job on the solid blues and egg color.

Congrats The point and pink chick! Makes me wish I would of set some for New Years.
We have been working on it all week and almost have our little coop and run done for our new Key West chickens. I still need to finish the gate and paint the outside of the coop a coral orange color. I painted the inside bright yellow. I am going to make it into a Tiki Love Shack eventually lol-Palm thatch roof and all lol.
