It seems like you have a dang near perfect flock and still you get mossiness or a yellow legged bird. What the heck is up with that?

The birds shown have yellow legs and juvenile autosomal barring, both are evidence of cross breeding to a Patterned Brown bird ( such as Partridge Wyandotte,Brahma or Rock etc).
Both parents would have to be carrying the yellow skinned gene.

Hey Wynette...JD officially got his own pen and now has his two lovely ladies all to himself! He's quite a happy fella now.

Now they just need to bring on the eggs!!!!

At the moment I am having a bobcat problem, it jumps at the fence and the chickens fly over and then it gets them. It comes at various times of the day and avoids the trap I have set. Today I have spent the day in temperatures in the 90s building another fence round the original fence to try to stop it. As soon as I can I will either post a picture of one of my males or go back to previous posts and comment.
