Love this. A few days ago I wanted to post a nice little picture of my chicken (on another breed thread) but it was obvious that the thread was truly geared towards breeding show quality birds and I felt uncomfortable with adding my obviously not show quality chicken of that breed.
Anyhow - thank you from a relative newbie and I'm excited to share a pic or two of our fluffy FBCMs when they hatch! :)

We LOVE pics on here! No one will put your birds down - at least they should not. UNLESS you specifically ask for feedback.

I'm still playing catch-up, but I've seen several mentions of "brown red color pattern" - if I recall correctly, brown red is 100% different from black copper - they were discussion this on MCC a few days ago, and I believe it was Dick Dickerson who stated that these two patterns are not even in the same...loci? I could be using the wrong word, as I'm just now learning correct genetics language. Anyone?

i have had them around 2 years (few months less), i am working second generation not counting p generation i like em i have em and i am not bringing and new blood into my flock untill the ones i have run there corse ,mostly all the talk is on the black copper they are most popular and the darkest eggs next up on egg color would be the blue and then wheaten as far as popularity it goes bc,wheaten ,then blue thats what i think ,,, but some day we should all vote or chime in on who likes what ,,,
