she isn't that old yet and she may still continue to lighten especially if there is any white feathering... The melaniser is still moving around and may still drain out some.... revealing yet more copper. This is currently too much but is good to breed to a quality overcolored male...She has an exceptional head.. I can't see all of her but I like what I can see... I would keep her regardless due to type....Let's see more of the bird please

Okay marans fans..... my chicken buddies wife's husband (Virgil) is going in I think this time for surgery after so many postponments... Please find my new post... (much appreciated) Even my marans are pulling for him..... number 100 poster on that new thread will get some eggs from me. Please find it today... Surgery to take place in 45 minutes (if they don't postpone again)
