i can't figure out how to get these pics on here guys lol i am having troubles hahaha.... no laughing matter though lol...... ok they are about 10 months old, and they are brothers and they are absolutly beautiful, but they do have yellow shanks, welsummers and marans bcm are similar exept for the shank feathers and other slight characteristics...... Their sons have pink toes and slate shanks.... their mothers are imports from france..... I was just puzzled when i was like wow... when i bought them, I saw it, but i loved them so much i wanted to work on them......

Villagechicken yep that was the word... DRAT!!! I can go and edit I suppose but naw... I think I will let it go by... I didn't know it autoedited. And like you I didn't realize it was a forbidden term.

and wow was I gone that long... Zip and the pages just fly by... Can't wait to see how many I have to catch up on when I get back again.

Real progress here today!! It was a very nice, and warm day for December, 50s. All chickens have now been mingling together with very few skirmishes all day long! They've been roosting at night for 3 nights with no blood, so today I let them all out in the run together. Coop was open to all, and the big chooks seemed to take over the chicklet pen, and the chicklets ran throughout the big run! All were together with no major fights!

Ten chickens finally united in peace!!!!

Another half a chick is here. Head is out and butt is still in the egg shell, but baby is sleeping right now, it's hard work for them getting this far. Very light in color, probably light blue.

went to the store today and stocked up on some necessaries... chicken checkers... head of cabbage for cabbage coop hoops... (chicken basketball)

and some suet cakes etc.. them girls and boys are going to need an ARK... We are to get 2 inches of rain tomarrow....

It was a seasonal product so they didn't have the water wings I went after!!!
