The whole experience has been exhilerating & now with my grand daughter on board with her own 4H chicken project I am looking forward to lotsa learning & fun.

IMO you have a VERY NICE start with this boy!

I know someone in Chico that has chickens.

If you got them from my friend... Just breed them back to each other or go back and buy a parent stock to breed to...They egg color will darken with each generation.

Who did you get from? (if you don't mind my asking)
