Kathy, Hope you faired well through the storms yesterday! Sheesh, what a wild ride it was out here!!

Three tornados hit all around me, one about 10 miles to the west of me, one about 15 miles to the east, and another about 25 miles to the north. Three people died. Ft. Wood has a lot of damage to barracks and homes. I had another flu fire the night before, so yesterday after the storms passed through, I tore that ding dang dong furnace apart before the cold temps came back. Hope it is ok now

Just went out to get firewood (BRRRRRRRRR!) and my head trooper Mr. Bill is out braving the balmy 15 degree morning crowing up a storm. Surprised that he held off this long, he's usually crowing by 230.

Funny roos! I went out at 5:45 this morning to load the furnace. Still pitch black, but I could hear my boys, and it sounded like all 5 of them, crowing their fool heads off! They even got the neighbor's roos crowing!

Far cry, temp-wise this morning than yesterday. Yesterday at 6:30, it was 60*, this morning 19*!

Lucky you Kathy, and great hatch! My friend in the next county over said the same thing, "what storm??" Lucky me, I live in the tornado alley I guess
