i am growing nonsense mushrooms on oak logs and have been for around 4 years but i wouldnt know a morell if i saw one i planted the oak mushrooma , thats the only way i know its safe i wish i knew wild mushrooms ... i find nonsense makes good soup

I've never heard of nonsense mushrooms?? Tell us more! Got LOTS of oak out here. Got a pic of them? Morels are kind of a rusty orange color, and look like a pointy brain.

They are delicious!! They grow at the base of oaks, usually on a hill, on the north side of the tree. With all this rain we are getting here, they should be popping up soon

By the way, how's the cabin coming along??

I'm super lucky on the fungi front. I get morels, chantrelles, hedgehogs and black and white truffles in the woods behind my house!
