I did not see a pic of the rudimentary toe on the marans SOP pages so wanted to offer up this pic if anyone would like to use it.
This pic was taken when this cockerel was 8 weeks old. He has crazy tons of of leg and toe feathering. He has full on feathers on his toe that isn't supposed to have feathers. I could take an updated pic if anyone would like to use it.

I have a glass-front beverage refridgerator that I'm thinking would make a better 'bator than it does a barley-cooler. I wonder how I can convince Pinkchick

(and her very talented DH) to do the conversion if I finance the job???
