Last week I noticed our BCM roo had quite a bit of white on his tail feathers. The chickens haven't been under unusual stress. Would there be any reason for this. I guess it could have been there before but not as noticeable as now.

Cull??

Jan, do you plan on showing him, or breeding for show?
Is the white starting at the skin, or more towards the middle of the feather shaft?

Definitely towards the body not sure if it goes all the way to the skin. I'll have to check.

Not necessarily interested in showing him, but if it is a DQ, don't want to breed to pass on the fault to someone else.

Hi y'all, I've got the next two weeks off and I finally got pics of some of the bc marans. Here are a few, I hope the size is not too big, opinions are very much appreciated. The pics are not great because they won't stand still for two seconds. These are not quite a year old, March or April they'll be a year. These are not all I have, just the best pics I could come up with right now. So far I think I've done a good job of culling, but I know you guys will let me know if I'm on the right track or not!
