That's great you found the killer in time! Isn't it crazy how that happens? And I have started using oxine alot now that I am showing.... I spray everything down at shows.
Going to Delmarva as soon as I shower, the car is loaded (no Clyde

) in fact, all my Marans looked like crap, just bringing my Splash girl.
She has feathers busted up on her back, but she's so pretty...
I entered 12 birds, and am bringing 4. Harsh winter, and randy roos, have cut my entries way down.
Wynettes eggs are due to come today.

I hope DH remembers to get them in tonite. He's gonna have his hands full feeding birds this weekend!!!
AND, some showgirls are due on Sunday, ooh, I better take them out of the turner now. oops...
Gotta go, I hope I get a ribbon. Especially after a 5 hour drive.

I did get started on gardening after I found my way home today and have some of the most amazing onion starts from an experiment I did last fall....so I'm thrilled!

I grew onions for the FIRST time this fall.

I am so excited!

They were so EASY to grow.

I can't wait to harvest them. I am starting to see a few of them developing nice size bulbs.....
Tomatoes seedlings are in the ground along with 7 different pepper varieties. Can you say SALSA ? ??

Speaking of SHOWing chickens....

The other day I had to clip a couple of roosters wing feathers. They were flying in and out of places to tangle with my other roosters.

For future reference, are birds penalized OR disqualified for having clipped wings?

Vicki ~ Glad the tornadoes skipped over you! We are due for storms here this weekend, but they've been saying it for the last few days too, and nothing. Sunday is supposed to get up to 90! Yeah on the onions! I'm going to attack those danged weeds today in the garden spot, then if I have any energy left, will till...

I don't know for sure, but I would assume they would be penalized, or maybe DQed?? I know the Silkie breeders say not to trim the vent feathers on their show hens. Bad boys! Time to buy some netting maybe??
