I WAS AT THAT SHOW!!!! i saw those eggs!!!!!

I saw the pictures you posted! You should have stopped by the Marans table.
You know, the one thing I wish I had done more of was walked about a bit and looked at the different breeds. I had never seen bantams before. At least not the super tiny kind. There was a wee little brown-red Old English bantam rooster about the size of a squirrel that I fell in love with

. He was so remarkably cute and funny when he crowed. I wanted to bring him home with me so badly

But I couldn't figure out what I would do with him once I got him home. I'd be so worried my cats would want to eat him

i stoped by the marans table table a few times, but my camra was close to going dead. Did you see me, i was wearing a pinkish eskamo hat( with ear flaps), a purlpe vest, pink swaetshirt??? familliar????

Here's some updated pics of my oldest BC's. They're almost 4 months now, so I'm hoping for eggs in a month or so!

One of the cockerels and 1 pullet:

All 5 mixed in w/ my EEs & other babies:

Though on the whole, I'm getting half as many eggs this week, I have several pullets laying for the first time, including two Marans who just started up this past week--that means I only have a couple of Marans "slackers" left!

The egg in the front is actually blue. I wish I could figure out how to capture the blue eggs on film, but they come out looking white. This was taken outdoors at in late afternoon, no flash.
