Thanks!! Boy it took her forever. She was in a small coop with a few other girls. I finally seperated all the roos and cooped them in one coop the other day and let all the girls out to free range. And an egg shows up in the main coop!

I think the oldest girl is 24 weeks but I am not sure who laid it. And I think I am going to feed it to the DH. He has been so great about my chicken habit he deserves the first one.
 
NO DON'T EAT IT!!

Inside there is probably a chick that will grow to be a hen with perfect confimation and coloring that lays a #9 egg throughout her cycle.

I ate 1/2 a dozen of those just this morning... They are delicious... EAT IT... Better yet... FRENCH TOAST...

Odds are she isn't in a regular lay yet... Give her time to perfect it and eat the deliciousness. Totally worth it... She will lay another.

by the time you wait for enough to warrant running the bator....The egg will most probably be old and not worth hatching or eating....

So my vote is... Bon Apetite (that is if there is a vote here)
