Yeah, the are the most charming chics, sooo friendly my two Roosters still jump in my lap for cuddles and the girls line up for lap time.
How many eggs ya got?
I only have 5 BC eggs that have made it this far. 3 are pipped and I'm hoping the other 2 will come along also. I can't go home to check on them until lunch time though.
WHY do we have to work! I really hate going out the door when pips are occuring, but it helps me not obsess over the hatch. I am always a nervous Nellie.
Oh good luck. He is very nice and really packs well. I got some clean legged cuckoos from him in the bator right now. I will be very interested to see his coppers you are hatching.

Thanks onthespot. He was my #3 roo. He was a little smaller than the other two and is 3rd in the pecking order, but he is turning out to be the most correct.
And, you're right, he has a lot of color on his saddle. When they were all about 4 weeks old, they had lots of pin feathers coming in on their backs. The other two roos had black feathers come in but his came in all copper and they're longer than his brother's.

Your birds are amazing! I love how they are strolling on the grass. I would let mine onto my grass but they would be a doggie snack, so they stay in their own yard. DH says where chickens are, grass isnt. Wish I could get grass to grow in their acre??
What a lovely space you have!! Thank you so much for sharing!
