Ok, here's an update! All 5 of my BC Marans eggs that I had left have hatched! 5 beautiful babies! The one is still kind of weak, so I hope she makes it...she seems to be doing a little better.

Katy - I think the Wheatons are beautiful also and they're next on my list! Want to sell me some eggs when yours start laying?!

here's hoping your weak one will be okay. Sometimes when they have to work extra hard to get out of the egg they are just pooped and it takes a while for them to get their strenth back and then they are fine.

No--I only have CBs and Cuckoos, but I also think the Wheatens are the prettiest--especially the roosters!

I would really like to add some Wheatens one day soon.

Hi all,
I just wanted to show some pics of my cuckoos. They're not SQ, but I love them!

The ladies are so friendly and the boys have been cracking me up with their first attempts at crowing this past week.

This is Mister at 7 weeks

and now at 12 weeks

and this is one of his Misses

I'll never know how you all get such great pictures~ these guys will just not pose for me!!

I have a rooster, we call him Thing, that is very similar to your first pic. He's gender confused, quite effeminate really, and soooo gentle.
Mine wont pose either, I have a digital camera and erase thousands before I get one or two good ones!
