Those are beautiful! Are BO eggs pinker than most brown eggs? Every time I see a photo of them, they look much more pink. If so, I am definetely going to get one

These are my first orpies so I don't know if they are usually that color. So far thats what mine are producing. Makes a nice display of color. I need some blue in there!

I wish I had a farm so I could mix breeds and come up with all kinds of interesting colors. Has anyone mixed there EE's with other breeds?

I have Silkie/EE crosses in the bator.

Let me know what color they turn out to be. I am assuming they would be a lighter blue or green. I really want to see what a EE/maran, penedesenca, or any type or med or dark brown layer would lay.

I have some Light Brahma x EE crosses. They should start laying next month. Can't wait to see those eggs. The hens look like the brahma only with the muffs of the EEs. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow and post them.

OOOuuu, we had a Maran/Amer cross but we gave her to a friend along with our rooster so he would not be lonely. She will let me know when she starts laying. Do you have pictures?
