Remember awhile ago when I posted my chicks and everyone said they were all four roos? Here are their feathered out pictures, I need to be 100% sure before I rehome. I would love your expert opinions.

So, if I were you, before re-homing, I would ask tfpets or Gina from Gina's Marans. They both know quite a bit about Cuckoos and will be able to tell you.

I am the proud mama of 6 new BC marans from Ninjapoodles!

I hatched out eight but one died soon after hatching (yolk not absorbed completley) and the other one i'm unsure it may have been piled on

I just noticed it dead this morning.

ANYWHO the others are wonderful that brings my BC total (so far) to 13

I've never eaten one but I am sure they are no diff than any other egg.

Most just dont want to eat them because of the value of hatching gorgeous babies from them

Yes tfpets loves eggs of all sizes, shapes and colors, but hates the taste of them.

I love them sunny side up, boiled, poached, fried in butter, with hollandaise, cheese and avocados, salmon, snausages and blueberry muffins.

My Marans have very orange yolks too which makes it seem like they taste better than other eggs, but they pretty much taste the same as my other hen's eggs
