Ok i have one more question about their catalog.. Do you have to have a company to get it? And what does Ext. mean? (I have never done this before so sorry if i sound really stupid)

IMO that is pretty scary.....I hope that people do their homework before they purchase them from a hatchery. I am not against hatchery birds in any way, some of them turn out very nice, but when it comes to Marans (especially the BC's) I would be very skeptical about them coming from a hatchery.
