I'm a newbie at this, but I've been looking at lots of pictures and trying to learn myself, and he looks very nice to me.
His eye color is good, as well as his coloring, his comb is very proportional to his body...his body is nice and solid.
The red on his breast looks to be the "parsimonious" amount called for it the standard. The first example I've seen-
usually you see a very red breast or a solid black. I'm guessing that just this little bit of red will give pullet offspring
the right amount of color.
What I like best though, is his disposition. I think thats one of the best traits to have in a roo
.
But I gotta ask...how the heck did you potty-train him?
Thank you for the critique
Hehe, he pretty much did it himself. When he was sitting on the couch with me watching TV, he hopped off the couch, went to his crate, did his business, and came back. I just kept rewarding him, so now when he needs to go potty, he will go in his crate. I bring him inside when I am feeling lonely, and he will snuggle up to me.
