These are pictures I took tonight of my cutie-pie chicks from Melissa's (pasofinofarms) golden cuckoo marans eggs. I think I got 2 girls and 2 boys! Can anyone confirm this for me? I'm in love with these cuties....enjoy the pics!

yep... two boys (light) and two girls (dark)... Wow they are squeezably soft looking... I would name at least one charmin.. he he.. My goodnes they are CUTE!!!! Thanks for sharing your pictures!!!!

Well, I have one BCM chick that hatched on the 8th.

I don't have luck with shipped eggs, so I was happy to have this little one hatch. Of course, I'm hoping SHE's a girl... Surprisingly, she seems to be adjusting to being the only chick. She's a real sweetheart.

Awwwwwww... Spring has sprung! Congrats on all the babies! I can't wait to hatch some myself but I have to convince the hens to lay something first. Everyone is laying well EXCEPT the Marans!

Thanks, 3chickens! Last year I had a single chick hatch... I felt so bad so I picked up 12 chicks from a local lady! I can't do that again this year, and I have one of my eggs on day 20 in lockdown right now

If that egg doesn't hatch out, I have several more going into lockdown this coming Tuesday. I hope one of my Silkies goes broody soon because I think I'm losing my patience with incubating eggs.
