Some of my EE eggs did that, they pipped and then NOTHING for almost a day while all of the other chicks hatched and started playing pinball with them. For some reason they were just slower. So far some have hatched though, they were just resting

Can you see them moving in the eggs at all? Ive had a hatch that one pip and hatched than waited until the next night and more came, they can be tricky. But if you dont see anything tomorrow morning Id go in and check on them. Just my two cents.
good luck.
Illia.... the rule of thumb I use for marans is 23 days.... then I might consider it... Truely they are a little slower to hatch sometimes... If you go in too early you will kill them all... They have to sit there and absorb the eggsack... I wouldn't open it until day 23 myself... I have hatched a bunch of them and early on I went in to help... they almost always died.... Give it the time it takes... If you help they very well could die... If you wait they could hatch... Leave nature alone and stick to the plan...LOCKDOWN.. that is why we call it lockdown.. you open it... the eggs evaporate and any chicks that may be going to hatch will die...
Yeah, I'm hoping that is why. I figured they'd take longer, and I sure hope all is okay. My mom is mainly the worried one,
I feel like she's going to open it tomorrow before I even wake up.
She's the one to tell the word "lockdown" to.
Anyway, . . . Good vibes to them.
And thanks everyone for the replies.
Oh and to answer Zgoatlady - One of them wiggled a little. It was one that didn't originally have a pip. Otherwise, most of the movement I notice is from the Ameraucanas bumping them around. They like to rest their heads on them for pillows.
I am sure you will be posting pride pictures here pretty quick.. How eggsciting for you.. Congratulations in advance for a phenominal hatch... (that will be your reward)....
I've been trying to get some pictures of miss fuzzy face, but a lot of times the fluff doesn't show in the photo due to the coloring and/or poor close-up quality on my cheapie camera....anyways
Here's an attempt to show what I mean. I thought she might grow out of it, but she's been puffy cheeked since I got her at 3 days.

she has greyish legs and they are feathered, like my other Marans.
