Yes, she's from Stevie. I'll get pics posted as soon as possible. The weather has been crappy as you know, so I don't want to bring them out yet on the cold wet ground yet. The ground is still very muddy. She's gorgeous, and the only one who turned out like that. I have some males in that bunch too, but I won't be keeping those. So, if you know anyone looking for a good rooster let me know. They are just a nice looking, and very healthy, and BIG. LOL

I'm in Northern California (Sacramento area) I'm looking for Maran or Welsummer dark egg layers to add to our flock this week. See it's my girlfriends b~Day THIS WEEKEND and she 'wants' one or two. Linda Hamid of Sweet H20 Poultry is in Roseville. I bought BCM chicks from her a few weekends ago. She has a Wade Jeane flock and a Bev Davis flock (purchased direclty from Wade Jeane & Bev Davis). I dont know if she has any chicks available but you could contact her and find out.​

Okay so here's a sample of how my chicks that hatched a week ago are doing. This guy/girl is a Black Copper, but have you guys ever had this before? An entirely BLACK chick! Not a white spot on it! It makes the chick SO beautiful, but has me wondering - Is there really any difference between a solid black chick, a normally proportionate chick, and one with a lot of white on it?
