i have seen post on the dry method and i have posted this link http://paraguinparadise.netfirms.com/Dry Incubation.htm but what i question to many on this subject
what is the humidity on day 1-18 ?in the link they talk about how much water in the bottem of the LG (or what ever bator ) but never talks about the exact humidity . i have been hatching like crazy the past 3 months and i have been at 1-18 at 40 perceent and than up it to 63 , whit the bator i use i just plop the hose in a big soda bottle full of water , and set the exact humidity on a digital control and it adds it all on auto and i also dont candle them , i never see a reason to but i would try the dry method but no one says what the humidity but i would love to try

Okay, FINALLY, here's some photos of my Blue Wheaten and Wheaten Marans gals and guys. They're over 6 weeks old, but all the boys are feathering in quite slowly.

Here's a Blue Wheaten cockerel and a Wheaten pullet:

Here's a Blue Wheaten cockerel, the youngest of them:

They're still young, but I have a couple Wheaties with too much brown on the chest. Of all, I have 3 Wheaten pullets, 2 Wheaten cockerels, 1 Blue Wheaten pullet, and 3 Blue Wheaten cockerels.

I really cannot wait until they are all mature!!

I went to that site & re read it. Its the one I go by, although I do't put the red plugs back into the hatcher, I leave them open.

He mentions not letting it go lower tyhan 25%. My hygrometer usually reads "Lo" but sometimes it reads 20%. Lower than 20 is Lo.

My room humidity fluctuates between 35 to 45%.

Ok - I've got a whole bunch of wheaton chicks that I want to get sexing opinions on. It looks to me like I have mostly pullets, but that might just be wishful thinking. Ignore the little black chick (a silkie/partridge mix) and the little brown chick (a silkie/americana mix). Also, you will see two wheaton chicks with dots on their heads (a red dot and a blue dot). That's just for my own marking purposes. What is the general consensus? Mostly pulletts? I hope . . . I hope . . . I hope
