Trying to get a single pic of the BCM was tough as both her and the mossy hang together(they're hatch mates)... They are 12 wks old

ok, my FCBMs are 4 weeks now. obviously some of these are roos. i will likely keep one roo, whichever looks best for breeeding. i guess i need to wait quite a while longer to decide on that though!

i have one that is super big and mossy. crazy amount of feathers too. hopefully she is a she and willlay a nice dark brown egg, or else get a LOT better looking!

I just wanted to show a couple of pics of our cuckoo maran Beatrice. She is a really good chicken just at 5 months old and i can't wait to see what her eggs will look like. She makes a great honking noise when she is eating.

ugh, i have been holding out hope for 1 and 3...sigh. good thing i only paid $5 each. lady i bought from has some 5 week olds and i'll be MUCH better able to choose pullets from that group. these were week olds when i got them.
