Oh wow an 8? That's awesome. I just hope she keeps it up lol. I do know which hen she is because she has been one of my favorites because when she hatched, she had some trouble (my humidity in the bator made her get good and stuck so I helped) and I put her in by herself for a while and she was lonesome and made this cheepa cry so dh started calling her Cheepa and it stuck. She is not mossy at all but has always been a little smaller than the other girls. I have some pics of her from a few mos ago. She pretty much still looks the same but has filled out a little since then. I hope she fills out some more. None of the female chicks from that hatch came out mossy but 2 of the roos really did.
As far as what line she is from: It would have to be either from Wade Jean hens with a Presley roo or Wade Jean hens with a Bev Davis roo. I had eggs from two blk copper breeders in 2 different bators at the same time.... Most of the chicks I was able to keep track of but I forget which she was from. They were all nice dark eggs but some darker than others.
A problem with incubating eggs from my black coppers right now is that I still have them in with my blue coppers LOL! There is a blk copper roo and a blue copper roo in there.
Darn, I should of separated them! I would like to get some darker egg genes into my blue coppers though so I guess it would be okay either way since they breed out pure...(blue or black copper)
Anyhow, here is her pic.
