My mille fleur bantam cochin roo is currently making lots of whoopee with my black frizzled bantam cochin pullet....

She sure looks like a cuckoo marans. Too bad you don't know for sure.I have a pullet hatched from what was supposed to be a pure marans egg,but I have my doubts. She had a reddish face when she hatched and now that she has feathered out,her coloring is not quite right,so into the eating egg flock she went. Since I sell eggs for hatching,I can't take a chance that I get mixed blood in my flock.

I'm a consumer, not a breeder. I'd be happy to buy the end product, and I might get talked into shipping hatching eggs, but I'm not planning to get into the chick-raising business. Sorry!
