I had some that worked out decent considering the situation. I set 7 eggs from a ~23 week old CCL pullet (3/7/22 hatch) late last August. My BCM from the same hatch date was a straight run chick and ended up being a roo and since I can't have one where I live I had to find a home for him. I put off re-homing him as long as I could and then since the CCL had just started laying I saved the eggs and hatched them. Only 3 developed but they did well and were the cutest, tiniest chicks! The eggs were on the line between Pee Wee and Small (at most 43g).How do your pullet eggs develop?
The one I still have laid her first egg today and it was 52g while her mom's from today was 54g. She was the smallest chick but is now almost the same size as mom, probably will mature to be a bit bigger and will hopefully lay large eggs.
