mine have been in a little over 24 hours, I set them yesterday morning. I keep checking on them, worrying about them, and wondering how many of them are growing...GAH I am obsessed!

Yeah I have some mystery eggs in there. By checking, I just mean going over and fussing over the thermometers and stuff. Peering through the little window, counting the hours until I might see some veins in an egg to reassure me. I am trying to keep my hands off them as much as possible so I am only planning on candling them a couple of times.

Hello all well my plan for hatching with my broodys has gone down hill my silkie bantam has an infected scab on her chest so I am now treating it and she is in her own hospital ward so fingers crossed she will be ok

being in that state she will properly break and hopefully decide to brood again once she is better in the spring but as of today i am keeping her chest clean and medicated as of my other hen she is doing ok and is now starting to roost with the others as I have locked her out her coop which she is not happy about Lol but I think they will be ok hopefully Thanks anyway
