My eggs just went into lockdown. Now is the time I have been worried about. With the temperature issues I have been having, I've had to open the bator and fiddle with the thermostat at least once or twice every day. I'll still have to do that because it isn't fixed. So I guess it's only 'lockdown' in the sense that I've stopped turning the eggs and laid them flat for hatching. I don't think I'll have too much problem with the humidity dropping when I open the bator because the weather has been wet and very humid and is expected to stay that way for the next week.
I'm hoping to wake up Saturday morning to a bator full of fluffy buttz! (Who am I kidding? I'll be up watching all Friday night!)
