Congrats on all new hatches!!! Those babies are going CRAZY! They're just popping out everywhere!

I have to try to stop myself, but I'm going out to feed everyone and check on my broody. She's not due until Monday... but my last batch was due on a Tuesday and Sunday morning I woke up to 3 little fuzzies and a pip in the 4th. So who knows... this could be an exciting Saturday morning!!!

I've got one baby that hatched last night at 1am. Was my first chick ever so I took video

Lovely white silkie. The other 12 eggs aren't doing much, one was shaking and peeping last night but no new pips today so idk

The whites were a day ahead of the other 3 eggs so the first guy hatched on day 20 for him. I'm not surprised since my bator was running high for the first half of incubation.
Now the waiting game for the rest to do something.

Day 21 for 12 whites day 20 for 3 BBS

Well... finally I have 3 pips

.This waiting game of the chicks is all consuming me

Due date was Wed and here we are Sat with hatching chicks. My next batch will hopefully be on time

update: I think I have 34 in brooder. One of them I have helped to hatch, but they all seem fine, so I don't know which one. There was one other that I opened, but I left him in bator and I don't think he is going to make it. 4 eggs with no sign of life, so they'll probably be discarded soon.​
