March Hatch-A-Long.( How is it gettting here so quick ? LOL )

All I know to do for now. It was bleeding and sticking to the bedding. Its kinda adorable, in a pitiful little way!

Oh, and there's antibiotic cream slathered all in there, & I gave it some vitamins, incase it is yolk sac.

I'm sorry I can't be of help. I have my first ever hatch in my incubator now so I really hope someone with some experience chimes in soon but I just had to say that has got to be the cutest chick diaper I have ever seen! Hope everything works out for the little peeper!

I've never had 1 like this survive, but I also don't go to extremes to save them @Sally Sunshine has some really great links in her signature that deal with things like this. You could also pm her these pix & she would likely send you links to the exact info you need.

Ok thanks. I'll look her up. If it hadn't been so active I wouldn't have bothered. It just seems so healthy otherwise. Of course now with the huge diaper, it can't really walk or anything. Lol

Awe poor thing .Can you see an opening in its gut? If not i dont see it in the picture maybe it can survive.If its his intestines or some stomach covering better to cull it.Might be in painI wouldnt put too much neosporin etc on it because if its egg sack or whatever you want it to dry up not stay wet The diaper might be a good idea if it porous to let air in Im concerned because it looks really bloody and egg sacs dont but who knows!
This is the part i hate about hatching seems like every few hatches you get a chick with a bad leg or some problem.Some fixable some not. Its so sad and i hate hate culling.Good luck with this little guy .
