Hey just thought I would put up a March hatch-a-long, Also mentioning St. Pat's in case anyone is aiming for that date...

These eggs are going for a St. Patty's hatch (shipped)( Isbar, OE, Maran, Wyndotte,cream Legbars, leghorns. They will go in home made incubator.


Below I have these going into a diff home made incubator tomorrow from a diff shipped ebay Blue and black Marans

Good luck with your hatch! I think I'm done hatching for this year, I have too many chickens already (20 right now, compared to just 4 a few months ago). I think I'm in danger of becoming a true hatch-a-holic. :oops:
 
This is also a March hatch, I have 17 hens, and I am comfortable with having up to 40 birds. I have about 3 friends who are all crossing their fingers on this hatch. It will be a hard choice who to keep. (I also have another incubator, and eggs coming friday.) I will want a few LO, OE, and blue isbars, and a blue maran or 2. With chicken math, you start wishing for more fingers and toes. Mostly I am planing on holding some blue birds and colorful eggs. I will add a pic of my next batch of Friday eggs.
